Group Finance Manager
At the Paul Gough Group of companies we've grown to a portfolio of 4 companies in two different countries in the fields of health, media and property. We need a finance manager who can help us transition successfully through the next phase of growth - in both revenue, recruitment of people and the acquisition of properties for our investment business.
This isn't your "typical" job in Hartlepool, and as such, we're not looking for a "typical" finance manager. We want you to excited to come to work with is and want you to be an integral part of our team. We need a real team player, and if you've got experience of working in a successful business, helping it grow, providing strategic advice and solid support to the CEO, as well as being able to provide accurate monthly management reports and cash flow forecasts, we want to hear from you.

The Paul Gough Group of companies is founded by Hartlepool’s Paul Gough, a best selling author and serial entrepreneur who has started each of his businesses from scratch in the fields of: Health Care, Marketing/Consulting, Property Investing and Property Lettings. In recent years, the Group of companies has expanded out of the North East of England to now having a business in Orlando, Florida.
Combined, the group of companies employees 35 people and is now generating over $7,000,000 in world wide sales and that includes a property portfolio of more than 70 homes (and growing weekly).
What started as a single physiotherapy practice in Hartlepool has now evolved to a chain of four clinics in the North East and due to the success of those clinics Paul has established one of the worlds most sought after Marketing and Consulting businesses for Health care businesses looking to grow sales and profits (Paul Gough Media LLC).
Skills/experience required:
· Team player - wants to be in the office and part of a team of other A players
· Proven track record of being able to meet important DEADLINES
· Proven track record of developing the careers of finance assistants and apprentices
· A love of accountability and the ability to create a culture that adheres to daily, weekly, month rituals (with zero tolerance for excuses)
· Finance skills are kept up to date and in line with the modern way of running a fast-growing finance department
· You are coachable and are committed to your own personal development in finance AND management
· ACCA, ACA, CIMA or Equivalent Qualified
· Minimum of 7 years in finance roles,
· Diligent in delivering accurate and reliable accounting information
· A love of ANALYSING numbers (not just organizing numbers)
· Highly competent in preparing, reviewing and advising on financial reporting
· Ability to report on financial KPIs
· Fluent in Xero and QBO.
